Wanna Ride?

Feature shoot for Hot Bike Magazine. A person I actually kind of knew replied to a Craigslist ad I posted hunting for feature vehicles. The bike lead me to Hot Bike and made me want a retro model A'la Betty Page. I also wanted a crusty old background... Turns out Chad, the builder, had the perfect shop and knew the model.

I broke out all my lights and shot a full feature on this bike. This shot is one of my favorites and I had a 600ws Profoto mono in my large softbox camera right, a couple of SB-26s snooted on the engine and wheels just camera left. Far camera left I had another Profoto 600ws monolight in a shoot-through umbrella. And almost to the wall far left was an SB-26 with a warming gel.

I first dialed the shot in using Canon's DPP. Then I adjusted the curves, didged and burned, cleaned up a few small skin items, and performed PS breast augmentation--just a little.
